Cosmetic Pathology
Surgical pathology provides for the final identification of disease in any situation when tissue is surgically removed from a patient. This is often accomplished using a mix of macroscopic and histologic inspection of tissues, as well as assessments of molecular features of tissues via immunohistochemistry or another test.
