Gaetano Isola is Researcher Assistant of Clinical Odontostomatology, School of Dentistry, University of Messina, Italy. DDS at the University of Messina. PhD in “Phisiopathology of the Stomatognatic Apparatus and Dental Materials” at the University of Turin, Italy. Researcher fellow at the “Laboratory the Study of Calcified Tissues and Biomaterials” and “Department of Periodontology” Université de Montréal. Advanced Course in Periodontology, University of Ferrara. Master Course University of Verona, 2014. Involved with several research projects in the field of the periodontology, oral surgery and orthodontics. His research interests are mainly focused on the physiopathology of Periodontal Diseases and the jaw muscles, craniofacial growth, the aetiology and management of the different malocclusion and the relationship between jaw musculature and orthodontics. Active member of The European Orthodontic Society (EOS), IADR and member of the Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP). Author of several international peer reviewed publications about orthodontics, masticatory function and periodontology.

Dr. Saleh Al-Daghreer is an honours graduate of King Abdul Aziz University where he received his BDS degree in 2003. In 2006, Dr. Al-Daghreer joined university of Alberta where he did his clinical training in orthodontics and completed his PhD in Orthodontics in the summer of 2012. Dr. Al-Daghreer achieved his Fellowship in orthodontics by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He did post-doctoral fellowship in the department of surgery at the University of Alberta in 2012-2014. Dr. Al-Daghreer is currently holding a position of an assistant professor in the department of Orthodontics at King Abdul Aziz University. Also, he is a clinical instructor at the University of Alberta and part time private practitioner. His published research and current research interests are in hard tissue basic science.

Nur Mohammad Monsur Hassan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) in 2000 and completed my PhD from the Institute of Genetic Medicine, Div. of Cancer Related Gene, Hokkaido University, Japan in 2007. Then I achieved a postdoctoral award from the “Center for Excellence” Japan and worked from 2007-2008 in the Cancer Related Gene, Institute of Genetic Medicine, Hokkaido Japan. After that, I achieved prestigious postdoctoral award from the “Japan Society for Promotion of Sciences” and worked in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Biopathology, Okayama University, Japan from 2008-2010. Then I worked as a post-doctoral research scientist under Professor Gary Halliday and A/Prof. Guy Lyon in the Dept. of Dermatology, RPAH, The University of Sydney. Nur Mohammad Monsur Hassanachieved several competitive Government “research grants” in Australia (ADRF student grant, 2014-2015) and Japan (Centre of Excellence Research Grant 2007-2008, JSPS 2008-10, UNESCO Japan Funds-in-Trust, 2007). Rahena Akhter had been appointed in the School of Dentistry and Health Sciences, Charles Sturt University in 2012 as a teaching and research academic. At present, I am a subject coordinator for several Dental courses named “Dental clinical practice 2A and 2B (Periodontology and simple Restorative Dentistry). I am also a Year Coordinator for 2nd year dental Undergraduate students. Since 2012, I have been continuing as an honorary lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Sydney, Australia. I have been fully registered as a “dental practitioner by APHRA”, NSW since 2013. I have accomplished specialization in the field of orofacial pain at the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Sydney. In Jan 2014, I have established a pain clinic at CSU Orange which also provided a base for further clinical research focusing on rural-regional patient needs. I have also successfully completed FRACDS (pril.) from Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Rahena Akhterachieved one of the most competitive and prestigious “Japan Government Monbusho PhD scholarship” and completed PhD from the most famous Hokkaido University, Japan.
